Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, near Jerusalem, Israel

In this village, founded in 1972 by Bruno Hussar, Jewish, Christian and Muslim families and inhabitants live together in peace. They have found a possibility of living and educating their children together in peace, tolerance and respect for each other and to learn about religions and ways of life from each other. Solution-oriented conflict management is learnt by interreligious up- bringing and education.

The S.E.R. Foundation GER has been supporting this village for peace in a kind of membership of a supporting society and by donation since 1996.
