The S.E.R. Foundation participated in the Informal interactive hearing on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases on 16 June 2011 General Assembly Hall, UN Headquarters, New York.
The Foundation gave in a written statement. As a result of that, the Foundation - as one of four german NGOs - has been invited the by the General Assembly to participate in the High-level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases, to be convened on 19 and 20 September 2011 at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

During the whole year the S.E.R. Foundation together with its partners of the Action Alliance Bonn for the Reconciliation Year 2009, including the town of Bonn, ran events.The SER Foundation Switzerland together with its parnters organized a "Time for Reconciliation" between 21 September - 2 October 2009.
